LES MILLS MED FILMING ASSESSMENT
ASSESSMENT FiLMING CHECKLIST
All instructors are required to follow these standards to ensure quality, consistency, and excellence in every Les Mills program delivered.
1. Submit a Video Taping of yourself teaching 30 minutes format tracks consecutively with no breaks in a live class setting.
- You must use the release on which you were initially trained
- Make and keep the backup copy for yourself
- Only the MP4 format is accepted. If you submit your assessment in an
If the format is incorrect or inaccessible due to missing tracks or audio difficulties, you will be requested to submit a replacement Filming.
- Ensure you set your camera settings to the lowest setting. Using high definition would make your video file larger than 2 GB.
2. Set up the camera to face you directly so that your movements are seen clearly from the front (RPM should film from a 45-degree angle so we can see your legs).
- Keep a clear space between you and the camera. Ask a participant to leave space in the middle of the floor so that they do not block the camera.
- The camera must sit stable on the tripod and run from the beginning to the end of the class without stopping.
- Ensure you can be seen from head to toe at all times. Remember that step heights and propulsion can cause your head to move out of the camera range.
- Film your class for the lights on, so what so that we can see you
- Test your sound system and microphone are in working order so that we can hear both you and the music clearly on video
3. Film your personal introduction clearly stating your name, address, and phone number at the beginning of your video.
- Your personal introduction needs to be at the beginning of your tape.
- We need to see at least five minutes of your pre- and post-class interactions.
- Keep the camera rolling two minutes before you start class. Leave it for one minute after you finish the cool down.
4. Watch the recorded video from the beginning to the end before sending it !
- This will ensure that all the criteria are met before submission and there will not be a delay in assessing your video
5. Upload you Video tape on WETRANSFER in MP4 format and send it to ix@planetfitnessmed.com
- Copy the Link and enter it in the assessment cover sheet also.

6. Fill out and attach the Assessment cover sheet on the registration page:
- Fill in the Information needed
- Enter the wetransfer link
- Upload your Bank Receipt
